Syrene Niseko

Defining the Future
of Niseko's Architectural Identity

Syrene Niseko

Syrene Niseko represents a significant architectural endeavor in Niseko, standing as a testament to the fusion of international design principles with local construction ethos. This 312 m² two-storey timber structure, conceived by a foreign architect for an offshore client, posed a unique challenge: how to seamlessly integrate its design and specifications into the local environment. To achieve this, NISADE was entrusted not only as the Local Architect but also as the Project Manager, tasked with overseeing every detail to completion.

The project’s ambition extends beyond mere construction; it aims to establish a new benchmark in the Niseko area by harmonizing traditional Japanese architectural elements with contemporary international aesthetics. This blend promises to deliver a structure that not only complements but also enhances the surrounding landscape, offering a distinctive addition to Niseko’s architectural tapestry.

With a targeted completion year of 2025, the timeline underscores the commitment to meticulous planning and execution. Every phase of the project is meticulously managed to uphold stringent quality standards, ensuring that the final result not only meets but exceeds expectations. This meticulous approach is essential in marrying international design expertise with the intricacies of local construction practices, ensuring that Syrene Niseko not only stands out but also integrates seamlessly into its cultural and natural surroundings.
