In the heart of Hirafu Saka Street, the esteemed skiing capital of Niseko, a pioneering development took shape under the stewardship of NISADE. Tasked as project managers, their role extended beyond mere oversight to encompass the coordination of a groundbreaking three-storey retail structure. Positioned strategically at the busiest intersection in upper Hirafu, the building aimed to seamlessly integrate luxury restaurants and winter gear shops, catering to both local aficionados and international visitors alike. Commencing in late 2015, NISADE’s engagement precipitated a meticulous tender process for construction, ensuring competitive pricing and top-tier quality through comprehensive value engineering studies. This approach not only optimized costs but also fortified the project’s foundation for enduring success. Integral to the project’s fruition was client-side design management, a cornerstone that prioritized localized adaptation. This bespoke approach not only adhered to international standards but also bespoke the essence of Hirafu’s distinctive charm. The collaborative effort between NISADE and local stakeholders epitomized a harmonious blend of global expertise and indigenous sensibilities, culminating in the seamless delivery of an architectural gem. |
